Some fighters will be appointed to officer positions in a new way: details from the Ministry of Defense.
Headline: Military personnel with experience and higher education will be able to hold officer positions without training courses
Military personnel with higher education and leadership experience will no longer be required to take courses to be appointed to officer positions. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernohorets.
From now on, military personnel with a master's degree and at least two years of civilian work experience can be appointed to various positions, including colonel. They do not need to undergo military training courses or sign a military service contract.
Previously, graduates with higher education and leadership experience could only hold lower positions in the army.
