Order of Combat Merit Grants New Benefits: What Payments Military Personnel Will Receive.
Ukrainian defenders who have received the 'Order of Combat Merit' will have a happy chance to receive additional benefits and monetary payments from the state. This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Social Policy.
“The state award 'Order of Combat Merit', established by the Presidential Decree for outstanding deeds during combat actions, will provide a number of benefits and a special status for the recipient.”
Privileges for Warriors
In particular, such individuals will be able to expect the following benefits:
- burial with military honors, including free dignified burial at the National Military Memorial Cemetery;
- monthly monetary payment of one and a half minimum wages;
- the option to choose the amount of the monthly payment if eligible for several types of assistance.
Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin actively supports the rapid implementation of the law, which will enhance the social protection of military personnel and veterans. The committee has already recommended the adoption of the draft law in full, in order to quickly provide all benefits and payments to recipients of the 'Order of Combat Merit'.
Ukrainian military personnel who have received the 'Order of Combat Merit' can expect additional benefits and monetary payments from the state, including free dignified burial, monthly monetary payments, and the option to choose the amount of assistance. The Minister of Social Policy supports the rapid implementation of the law to strengthen the social protection of military personnel and veterans in order to provide all necessary benefits to the holders of the 'Order of Combat Merit'.
