The state budget has received over 856 billion UAH since the beginning of the year: where the funds are spent.
The state budget was replenished by 275 billion UAH in April
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, almost 275 billion UAH was directed to the general fund of the state budget in April. Since the beginning of the year, the total revenue amounts to over 856 billion UAH, which has come from taxes, fees, excise duties, and customs.
Shmyhal emphasized that despite the difficult economic situation in the country due to the war, the economy is gradually recovering. Every гривня collected goes towards the needs of the state's defense. Over 26% of Ukraine's GDP is spent on the defense and security sector to provide the army with weapons, ammunition, food, and medicine.
'Thanks to internal resources, we pay salaries to servicemen...everyone who pays taxes contributes to our resilience and brings us closer to a just peace,' he emphasized.
The government noted that the budget deficit is compensated by international support and internal loans. The need for external financing this year - over 39 billion dollars - is fully covered.
Overall, the replenishment of Ukraine's state budget is taking place actively, allowing the government to cover necessary expenditures, particularly for defense needs. The authorities have highlighted the importance of each citizen's contributions through tax payments in strengthening national security and achieving peace.
