On Sunday, August 3, queues at the border of Ukraine were recorded at many checkpoints. Drivers are advised to be aware of possible disruptions in the operation of electronic systems.

As of 12:00, queues formed at 13 checkpoints at the Ukrainian border. Drivers will have to wait in traffic jams.

Queues at the border with Poland

  • 'Yahodyn' — 1 bus (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out; crossing of passenger cars is temporarily not being carried out);
  • 'Ustyluh' — 55 passenger cars, 4 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Uhriniiv' — 20 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Rava-Ruska' — 0 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Hryshiv' — 0 passenger cars, 2 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Krakiivets' — 10 passenger cars, 7 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Shehyniv' — 20 passenger cars, 2 buses, 0 pedestrians (pedestrian crossing is being carried out in both directions);
  • 'Nyzhankovychy' — 10 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Smilnytsia' — 0 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out).

Queues at the border with Slovakia

  • 'Maliy Bereznyi' — 25 passenger cars, 0 buses, 0 pedestrians (pedestrian crossing is being carried out in both directions);
  • 'Uzhhorod' — 35 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrian crossing is not being carried out);
  • 'Mali Selmentsi' — 0 pedestrians (operating from 09:00 to 21:00).

It is reminded that Ukrainians were warned about what they may not be allowed to cross the border in August.

It also became known that from October 12, the rules for Ukrainians entering the EU may change.

In connection with changes at the border with Poland and Slovakia, Ukrainian drivers and travelers may encounter queues and delays in crossing the border. The State Border Service recommends planning trips in advance, considering the possibility of longer waiting times, and following updates regarding the operation of border crossing points.
