17,560 UAH for Military Children’s Recreation: How Families Can Access the Funds.
What Is the 'eRecreation' Program?
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine has launched the 'eRecreation' initiative to fund holidays for children of military personnel. Under this scheme, the money for a vacation voucher is transferred directly to the parents’ bank card, making the process much more straightforward. The program is open to children aged 7 to 18, giving them the chance to rest and recover in settings tailored to their needs.
In 2026, the payment amount under 'eRecreation' will be set at 17,560 hryvnias, which equals five times the subsistence minimum for a child of that age group. Notably, priority funding goes to children of combatants, wounded soldiers, fallen Heroes, and those missing in action. This reflects the state’s commitment to supporting families who have lost loved ones or suffered due to the war.
Key Benefits of the Program
Applying for the funds does not require visiting social welfare offices—instead, a notification about the payment arrives automatically through the Diia app. This greatly simplifies the process and makes it accessible to everyone eligible for assistance. The 'eRecreation' program represents a major step in helping children facing difficult life circumstances, promoting their recovery and social integration.
The 'eRecreation' program underscores the government’s efforts to provide social protection for children affected by military conflicts.
By automating aid distribution via the Diia app, the authorities aim to cut red tape and ensure support reaches those who need it most. Introducing such initiatives is a crucial move toward restoring social stability and well-being in society, especially amid the challenges of war.
