Pay for the Armed Forces of Ukraine — how much is paid for state awards.
Ukrainian soldiers and families of fallen Heroes who have received state awards for exceptional services to the country are entitled to monthly cash payments. The amount of these payments depends on the type of award and the rank of the distinction.
The right of citizens to monthly cash assistance for services to the Motherland, as explained by the , is provided by the Law of Ukraine No. 2454-IX 'On monthly cash payments to certain categories of citizens'.
Monthly cash payments are due to individuals who participated in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and were awarded state awards since 2014.
The amount of the additional payment depends on the type of distinction:
- Heroes of Ukraine (Order of the Golden Star) — 24,000 UAH;
- Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of three degrees — 16,000 UAH;
- Order of Courage and Order of Princess Olga of three degrees — 8,000 UAH.
For families of fallen soldiers who distinguished themselves in actions for the country, payments of 8,000 UAH per month are provided.
How to arrange payments
To receive cash payments, it is necessary to contact the Pension Fund with the required documents, such as a passport, identification number certificate, documents confirming merits to the country, and others.
The cash payment is assigned regardless of the applicant's status as a pension recipient.
