Permission for long-range strikes on Russian territory has symbolic significance for Ukraine - analyst.
Permission granted for strikes on Russian rear positions
Political technologist Oleg Posternak stated that the decision to grant permission for long-range strikes with Western weapons on Russian rear positions has symbolic and military-strategic significance for Ukraine. Highlighting Ukraine's recent successes with ammunition depots and the strike on a train carrying Russian weapons, Posternak asserts that this decision has military expediency. The West's determination regarding the insignificance of Putin's "red lines" is extremely important. The West shows its power and establishes a new state of wartime, signaling to Russians that their leader has put the country in a risky position. Posternak predicts that soon a decision will be made to carry out long-range strikes deep into Russia, or the country will continue to act under "Plan B," as President Zelensky said.
