Local media report a possible bird strike that caused the malfunction of the landing gear. One passenger testified that a bird got stuck in the wing of the plane.

Currently, a rescue operation is ongoing at Muan airport, with all necessary services working at the scene of the incident, and the circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the relevant authorities.

One passenger testified that a malfunction of the landing gear may have been the cause of the incident - the plane landed at an angle, after which there was a loud bang and the wing began to slide along the runway.
