The Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak believes that a successful peace process for Ukraine must include the return of all abducted children and prisoners from Russia. He reported this on Telegram.

On the eve of the meeting in Istanbul of the Ukrainian delegation, led by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, an important meeting took place in Ankara.

Andriy Yermak emphasized that it is important for Ukraine to have a dynamic development of the peace process, as the question arises about people, especially children, who were abducted by Russia and for whom concrete decisions need to be made.

'We also talked about the need for a meeting at the level of state leaders — President Volodymyr Zelensky, the leaders of the USA and Turkey Donald Trump and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Russian President Putin to move on to real negotiations about ending the war.'
.

It is recalled that the Ukrainian delegation is preparing for negotiations with the Russian Federation in Istanbul, expecting a meeting and ready to discuss important issues. Volodymyr Zelensky approved the composition of the delegation and provided it with the relevant directives.

For Ukraine, the dynamics of the peace process in negotiations with Russia is very important. In particular, Ukraine demands the return of all abducted children and prisoners.
