Escalating Danger in Kramatorsk and Nearby Towns

According to Espreso.tv: Volodymyr Zharky has reported a dire situation unfolding in Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Druzhkivka, where ongoing military aggression by enemy forces is driving a mass exodus of local residents. On June 1, an electrical substation in Kramatorsk was struck, leaving the area without power for several days. The enemy is targeting these settlements with guided aerial bombs (KABs) and Geran-2 attack drones.

Region Faces a Critical Breaking Point

Conditions in Kostiantynivka and Oleksievo-Druzhkivka have become so severe that evacuation by car is no longer feasible. Residents must now flee on foot toward Druzhkivka and Kondrativka, where volunteers are waiting to assist them. As Zharky put it,

“the enemy is attacking Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, and Druzhkivka with every weapon in its arsenal.”
At the same time, a wave of young families with children is leaving Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.

Since the start of June 1, Russian forces have launched 62 assaults on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions, with the heaviest clashes—25 engagements—occurring on the Pokrovsk front. A few days earlier, a minibus belonging to the Save Ukraine charitable foundation was destroyed. However,

“thank God, everyone was already out of the vehicle,”
Zharky emphasized. The region remains under extreme pressure.

This report highlights the severity of the military conflict in eastern Ukraine, where active combat operations are triggering a humanitarian crisis. The large-scale evacuation underscores the high threat level for civilians, who urgently need safety and support. In such unpredictable conditions, constant monitoring and swift action by local and international organizations are essential to protect lives and provide humanitarian aid.
