According to inkorr.com: Yesterday, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine with representatives of the European Union, during which the situation at the front and plans to strengthen defense capabilities were discussed. Partners focused on the successes and challenges in the development of Russia's military-industrial complex, as well as the impact of sanctions and joint initiatives.
Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk emphasized: 'We understand the scheme through which the enemy receives these components via third countries. To prevent this, sanctions must be stricter. Countries that have imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation must monitor and oversee their implementation.'
The participation of Ukraine in the SAFE and Build with Ukraine initiatives was also discussed, and the need for funding for the defense industry was voiced. At the end of the meeting, it was announced that €6 billion would be allocated to Ukraine for drone production by the end of the year.
This meeting with the European Union delegation opened new opportunities for cooperation in the field of defense and security of Ukraine, focusing on the importance of information sharing and support on the path to strengthening the defense capabilities of the country.
