Lauren sustained multiple injuries, including two broken legs, a broken arm, rib fractures, spinal damage, and a punctured lung.

Lauren's friend, Tia Gray, who is running a GoFundMe campaign, shared updates about her condition, noting that Lauren 'is stable but very confused and sleepy' due to strong medication. If her condition stabilizes, she will need surgery in the coming days.

Tia expressed gratitude to everyone for their support:

“We are so overwhelmed by all the love that is coming in, every like, share, comment, and donation.
“It has filled our hearts with great gratitude and gives us a bit of comfort during this difficult time.”

As of now, £4,137 has been raised out of the planned £8,000, but the family claims that costs for bringing Lauren back to the UK could exceed £32,000.

Ebony, who is a mother of three, has already been discharged from intensive care but continues to experience severe pain. She is receiving treatment at the private clinic Nuestra Senora del Rosario.

Her brother Kyle Marsden reported that she is now conscious and was able to eat, but is still battling injuries.

“Ebony is now stable and has been moved out of ICU. She is awake and has eaten, but is still experiencing terrible pain, but is thankful for the chance to be alive and is looking forward to seeing her boys,”

Kyle also noted:

“The road ahead will undoubtedly bring new challenges, but without your generous help and support we really would be in a hopeless situation.”
“On behalf of our family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

The fundraising efforts have currently raised £4,225 out of a target of £4,500.

Both women from Bradford, West Yorkshire, were struck by a taxi driven by a 24-year-old Spaniard on the El-600 road between Ibiza and San Antonio in the early hours of Tuesday.

Lauren's mother, Bernice Ramsden, 47, recounted that the girls were on a short break when the tragedy occurred.

“It was supposed to be just a short break.
“I found out what happened when her friend called me and just said: 'Don’t worry, there’s been an accident, she’s been hit.'
“She said 'don’t panic', but I panicked massively, trying to find out what was going on.”

Lauren, who has a nine-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son, is currently in the intensive care unit of the Can Misses public hospital.

Family friend Ethan Hawkes, who also traveled with Ramsden to Ibiza, previously stated:

“She remembers nothing, the last thing she remembers is going out for dinner.
“Her younger son is autistic, so he doesn't understand, but her daughter is just in despair. She just wants her mom to come home.”

Ethan also added:

“We don’t know what is happening with the taxi driver, we don't know if he has been arrested or if he has insurance.
“We have been told that she may stay in the hospital for six to eight weeks if she is treated here. And when inquiring about the return home, we were told that it would cost around £33,000.”
