At the beginning of the day on November 25, 2024, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully attacked key facilities in three Russian regions, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to military leadership, units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other parts of the Armed Forces, carried out an attack on important enemy facilities in the Bryansk, Kaluga, and Kursk regions of Russia. An oil depot in the Kaluga region was successfully captured.
The head of the Press Service Center of the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenco, reported that among the attacked facilities is the 'Typhoon' plant in Kaluga, which is part of the Russian military-industrial complex. This enterprise specializes in the production of radio electronic equipment, optoelectronic systems, and components for missile and aviation complexes.
The 'Typhoon' plant also manufactures parts for air defense systems and upgrades military equipment. Electronic modules and specialized equipment for integrating various military systems are produced there.
