Getmantsev on the Impact of Trump's Sanctions on Russia and China
Getmantsev believes that tariffs will not force China to stop cooperating with Russia, and Trump's sanctions have a limited impact on Russia and the war in Ukraine.
'Will this affect their purchases? I don’t think so, China will continue to buy. If something happens in relations with India, I can allow that, but I wouldn't see a knockout for the Russian economy here,'- explained Getmantsev.
The politician noted that Ukraine has a small influence in the geopolitical game that Trump is involved in.
'This is a high-level decision, in which we, unfortunately, occupy only a small part... If we want to win, we must not lie to ourselves, it seems to me. If we speak about the big geopolitical game, it takes place in the confrontation between the United States and China primarily,'- he summarized.
In addition, Getmantsev explained where the taxes of Ukrainian citizens are being spent and announced the consideration of a cryptocurrency bill in the Verkhovna Rada to protect the market, exchanges, and people.
