Hybrid war of Russia against Europe is in a hot phase - Yahun.
Ukrainian Director of the Security Sector Reform Agency, Viktor Yahun, stated about the possible confirmation of Russia's hybrid war against Europe. The reason was the damage to the underwater cable connecting Finland and Germany in the Baltic Sea.
Russia is waging a real war against the West
According to Yahun, Russia is conducting a military campaign against the West. According to the statement of the Chairman of the Russian Maritime Board and former FSB head, Nikolai Patrushev, there are plans to destroy or damage logistic routes in the West, including communication cables. Yahun believes that the severing of the cable is an execution of these threats. He also reported that a few days ago, the Irish Coast Guard stopped a Russian vessel that was interfering with the operation of the communication cables between Ireland and Great Britain.
Yahun asserts that Russia is connected to this case of damage to the underwater cable. He emphasizes that this is not a hybrid war, but a real war involving sabotage, diversions, and other destructive actions. Therefore, he calls on the West to respond very harshly to such actions and to utilize existing sanctions.
