The EU assists Ukraine in various formats
The European Union and its member states continue to discuss increasing assistance to Ukraine. This will be the main topic of meetings of foreign ministers and defense ministers next week.
This was announced by the EU spokesperson Peter Stano during a press conference in Brussels.
The EU countries constantly interact and consult with each other on a bilateral, multilateral, and EU framework level. Recently, EU representatives met in Budapest. They also hold monthly meetings of foreign ministers. It is noted that Ukraine remains a relevant topic in the upcoming meetings.
Stano emphasized that the EU continues to support Ukraine in peaceful efforts to achieve a just peace and its legitimate right to self-defense.
'The EU's position on peace and victory of Ukraine in this struggle for survival and the right to defense is very clear: Ukraine must win this battle. Any agreement must be based on a just peace, taking into account the fact that Ukraine is a victim of aggression. Nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine,' Stano stressed.
