Hodges assessed the prospects of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's offensive in Kursk.
Ukrainian troops have launched a new offensive in the Kursk region
Retired General Ben Hodges stated that this indicates Russia's weakness
Ukraine has announced the start of a new military operation in the Kursk region of Russia. The attack came from Kyiv's forces, which targeted a military command post located in the White Kursk region.
The General Staff reported that this operation was planned in collaboration with the Ukrainian ground forces, who initiated an action against the Russian troops. President Zelensky also confirmed that Ukraine will continue its presence in the buffer zone on Russian territory, destroying the military potential of the adversaries.
Experts confirm the movement of Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region. Although Russian troops were able to repel some attacks, Ukraine's offensive may mark the initial stage of a coordinated operation in the Kursk region or in other areas.
Former US Army General Ben Hodges emphasized that the attack on the Kursk region indicates Russia's weakness, while Ukraine is showing increasing strength and improvement. Thus, Ukraine has gained an important advantage and has been able to withstand Russia.
