The Security Service of Ukraine detained another agent of the Russian Federation in Kharkiv. This is a 45-year-old resident of the city who was involved by Russian military intelligence. He was supposed to coordinate an airstrike on his comrades in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In exchange, the Russian special service promised to 'evacuate' the agent to Russia. The agent marked the necessary locations on the map and conducted reconnaissance of the Ukrainian air defense positions. The SBU detained him at the stage of preparation for evacuation. The perpetrator faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Recently, the SBU also neutralized a group of Russian military intelligence in Odesa, where the head of the enemy cell and his subordinate were detained. A lot of weapons and tactical equipment were seized from them. In addition, an agent of the Russian GRU was detained in Kyiv, who was setting up video traps to coordinate strikes on the capital.
