In Volhynia, a group of people attacked a military recruitment center's vehicle: police detained those involved.

In the village of Solovychi, Kovel district of Volyn region, a group of people attacked the service vehicle of the territorial recruitment center during the notification of military conscripts. The police have started an investigation.

According to military sources, during the document check, one of the locals refused to show his identity card and tried to escape. At that moment, another man, who introduced himself as the village elder, jumped onto the hood of the recruitment center's vehicle and smashed the windshield with a stone.

An unknown woman joined the fight, also starting to hit the vehicle. Another man, who was armed with what appeared to be a wrench, smashed the side windows and hit the driver several times.

Subsequently, the service vehicle was blocked by other cars, including trucks. About ten people surrounded the vehicle and for several minutes struck the car, effectively preventing the recruitment center's staff and the police from performing their official duties.

According to preliminary information, one of the individuals involved has been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The actions of another participant in the incident have preliminarily been classified under Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism).

The Volyn recruitment center emphasizes that all individuals involved in the attack will face legal consequences.

Recently, in Cherkasy, a man threatened to blow up the recruitment center staff, while in Volhynia, a man was tried who ran over a recruitment center employee.

As a result of the incident, one person has been detained, and others who participated in the attack will be held accountable. The police are investigating this case.
