GUR eliminated the chief of staff of the battalion 'Storm.Ossetia': video.

Ukrainian scouts successfully carried out a special operation in the occupied Zaporizhia region, during which the chief of staff of the battalion 'Storm.Ossetia', Serhiy Melnikov, was killed.

Fighters from the active actions unit 'Kraken' of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine were involved in this operation, using FPV drones.

The incident occurred on December 29, 2024, on the Vasylivka-Tokmak highway. Thanks to accurate information obtained by the scouts, it was possible to plan an ambush on the route and schedule of movement of an important occupation official.

'Initially, drone operators forced the driver of the UAZ 'Patriot' car to sharply change direction, causing the vehicle to end up in the ditch,' the GUR press service reports. Then the scouts struck a precise blow with a kamikaze drone to the windshield of the car.

After this operation, Serhiy Melnikov and his driver were killed. The video of the successful destruction of the enemy was published by the official channels of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.

Earlier, GUR destroyed all servers of a key company of the Russian army.
