Ukrainian fencer Olga Kharlan won again at the 2024 Olympic Games. In the quarterfinals, she defeated Hungarian Anna Marton with a score of 15:7. The bout was completely under Kharlan's control. Now, to receive an Olympic medal, she needs to win one of the two remaining bouts.
In turn, Ukrainian judoka Daria Bilodid could not continue her path in the Olympic tournament due to disqualification in the second bout with the Japanese competitor.
It is gratifying to note that Ukraine will participate in all sports at the Olympics, except for team sports. The football team will also represent the country for the first time in the history of independence at these games.
