Father and Son on the Flying Trapeze: How London Teaches to Fly.
SENDING my nine-year old son 30ft up a ladder after just ten minutes of training, was either going to make or break my parenting custody access.
According to The Sun: Sending my nine-year old son 30ft up a ladder after just ten minutes of training could have been crucial for my parenting custody rights.
Fortunately, the trapeze experience at the 'Gorilla Circus' turned out to be one of the coolest things I've ever done with my boy.
It took place in the beautiful Kensington Gardens in West London, where we could park for free right in front of the entrance on Sunday. On the way there, I delivered a long monologue to Vladimir III about what to expect, but I was absolutely wrong about everything.
The team provided us with clear and specific explanations of the protocols, after which we warmed up and sat on the mat to master the basics. Within 20 minutes, we were already rushing up the stairs to tackle the most terrifying and impressive challenges.
Obviously, strict safety procedures were in place, but it was great to watch young kids manage their fears and phobias.
My boy has always been brave, but I thought this might undermine his stubbornness. However, the team treated him like an adult, and he behaved accordingly.
He progressed each time until he made the final move on the instructor at his last step. When I saw his face after being caught in the air by strangers, I was amazed.
Before his session even ended, he begged me to rebook and remind the staff that he had performed an exhilarating knee catch in his first session and could tackle tougher challenges when we return.
Overall, I found it a great value for money, especially compared to going to the cinema or bowling today.
Little Val said: 'The stairs were the scariest, but once I got up there, I was calm. The teachers were good, and the woman on the ground giving instructions made everything easy. And I want to come back. Dad promised me.'
This news describes a father and son attending trapeze training at the 'Gorilla Circus' in London. Despite initial fear, the child successfully completed the training and expressed a desire to repeat this impressive experience in the future.
