From Russia and Occupied Territories, 1902 Children Returned: Stories of the Rescued.

According to ТСН: Another group of children aged 7 to 17 from the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson has returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced on Telegram:

«We have managed to bring back another group of our children and teenagers from the temporarily occupied part of Kherson. These are boys and girls aged 7 to 17 years».

Among the rescued is a twelve-year-old girl who for almost four years avoided attending a Russian school without leaving her home. She secretly studied online according to the Ukrainian program, which was extremely dangerous as the occupiers could check her phone at any moment.

A twelve-year-old boy who requires regular treatment was also returned. After the occupation of his city, medical assistance became unavailable: the hospital was closed and looted, and access to necessary medications and medical supervision was absent.

The head of the Regional Military Administration emphasized that these and other children are now on free land close to their loved ones. They are in the "Hope and Recovery" centers, where they receive necessary medical, social, and psychological assistance.

The rescue of the children was made possible thanks to the initiative of President Bring Kids Back UA and with the support of the Save Ukraine team.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Ukraine has managed to bring back 1902 children from Russia and occupied territories.

Recall that a year ago, eight children were returned from the occupied part of the Kherson region.

This news is an important confirmation that the efforts of Ukrainian authorities and volunteers continue to yield positive results.
