April Payout of 1,500 Hryvnias Approved by Cabinet: Who Qualifies for the Aid.
One-Time Cash Assistance in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: A new resolution adopted by Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers on March 18, 2026 (Decree No. 341) introduces a one-time cash payment of 1,500 hryvnias for certain citizens in April 2026. This measure is designed to support individuals who already receive pensions or state social benefits. The initiative reflects ongoing efforts to cushion vulnerable groups amid economic pressures.
The 1,500 hryvnia payment will be disbursed in April 2026. Eligibility requires that as of April 1, 2026, the recipient has an officially assigned pension or state social benefit. Additionally, the total pension amount must not exceed 25,950 hryvnias.
Recipient Categories
Those eligible for this assistance include:
- Individuals receiving insurance-based pensions for old age, disability, or loss of a breadwinner;
- Pensioners drawing long-service or special pensions;
- Military personnel, civil servants, and others receiving disability or survivor pensions.
Furthermore, the program includes supplementary payments for recipients of state social assistance and families with children who receive child-related benefits. This underscores the government’s commitment to supporting at-risk populations during economic challenges.
This one-time cash benefit is part of a broader state policy aimed at social protection, particularly in times of economic instability.
By aiding pensioners and families with children, the payout may help ease financial strain on the most vulnerable groups, a crucial step amid rising prices and inflation. Such support can play a key role in promoting social fairness and stability across society.
