Kyiv residents will receive up to 40 thousand hryvnias: who can get help.
A new financial support program has been launched in Kyiv for residents whose housing has been damaged by Russian shelling. From now on, Kyiv residents can receive between 20 and 40 thousand hryvnias, depending on the severity of the damage to their homes.
Those who need immediate relocation due to serious damage or complete destruction of their housing will receive a one-time targeted material assistance of 40 thousand hryvnias. Those who are forced to temporarily leave damaged homes will receive 20 thousand hryvnias monthly for 12 months.
Kyiv residents whose property has been damaged by shelling are provided with financial support during the recovery of the damaged housing. This assistance is intended for temporary rental of housing and is coordinated at the district level for quick and effective resolution of issues faced by affected citizens.
