The assault left the elderly man with physical injuries and memory loss. Both suspects, aged 38 and 41, have prior criminal records; one of them was previously convicted for drug-related offenses. Police spokesperson Andrzej Borowiak confirmed that the pair will be handed over to prosecutors. According to Karolina Galecka,

“They will be taken to the prosecutor's office tomorrow, where charges will be filed.”
