According to Novyny.live: Kyiv's municipal authorities have announced the resumption of electric tram and trolleybus services on the city's left bank, starting March 3, 2023. This follows an improvement in the energy supply situation, ending a suspension that lasted over 40 days due to severe electricity shortages. The restoration of this vital public transport is a significant step toward normalizing daily life for residents.

The following tram routes will be partially restored:

Provided there are no new damages to the energy infrastructure, electric transport on the left bank is scheduled to operate on its regular timetable from March 4, 2023. This move is crucial for improving urban mobility and reducing the city's reliance on temporary bus replacements, which will be canceled from March 4.

The return of electric transport to Kyiv's left bank is a positive indicator of stabilizing energy conditions in Ukraine, significantly impacting the daily lives of the capital's residents.

This development signals a gradual recovery of essential infrastructure following prolonged restrictions linked to the energy crisis caused by the ongoing war. Reliable public transport is key to easing road congestion and improving the city's environmental footprint. For many Kyiv residents, these trams and trolleybuses represent a return to familiar routines and a more sustainable way to navigate the city.
