Kyivstar allowed to buy Uklon: AMCU explained the decision.
The largest mobile operator 'Kyivstar' has received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to acquire the online taxi ordering service Uklon. This was reported by the chairman of the AMCU, Pavlo Kyrylenko. The decision concerns five applications for acquisition submitted to the committee on December 23, 2024. In addition, 'Kyivstar' received permission to control the assets of LLC 'Uklon Ukraine', which are engaged in taxi services, delivery, and online advertising. Kyrylenko noted that these actions will not lead to structural changes in the three involved commodity markets. According to Forbes Ukraine estimates, the acquisition deal for Uklon could cost 'Kyivstar' between 40-80 million dollars.
