The government approved an anti-corruption plan in the medical-social expertise system

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a comprehensive plan to counteract corruption and other offenses in the medical-social expertise system, reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to the head of the government, the plan was developed to implement the decisions of the NSDC and the President of Ukraine. The document includes a number of radical changes in the operation of the MSEK system.

The key provisions of the plan include:

  • Complete liquidation of the medical-social expert commissions in their current form by the end of 2024
  • Creating a special group to review previous decisions of the MSEK within the next three months
  • Development of a digital solution for passing all stages of the MSEK, to be presented by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Digital Transformation in November
  • Conducting an urgent audit of disability pension payments for prosecutors and other state officials with the participation of the PFU, SBI, National Police, and SSU
  • Urgent drafting of bills on comprehensive MSEK reform by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Social Policy

Regional MSEK

Denys Shmyhal stated that the plan contains clear execution timelines and identifies responsible persons. According to him, this issue is a priority for all ministries, and based on the results of implementing the decisions of the President and the NSDC, appropriate conclusions will be drawn.

The council discussed the plan to strengthen Ukraine

Let us recall that Zelensky held a council meeting, during which they discussed winter preparations and the plan to strengthen Ukraine.
