Zelensky on China: intelligence detects military cooperation with Russia.
According to ТСН: China is intensifying its cooperation with Russia, particularly in the military industry, as evidenced by data from partner intelligence services.
Statements by the President of Ukraine
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky after a briefing by the head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko.
'We are recording an effective desovereignization of part of Russian territory in favor of China. This primarily concerns the use of resource-rich lands and the sale of scarce resources to China,' Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that Ukraine is observing a significant increase in the dependence of the Russian economy on China, highlighting the intensification of cooperation in sensitive areas.
'China is taking steps to intensify cooperation with Russia, particularly in the military-industrial sector. Partner intelligence services have similar information,' the head of state stated.
Zelensky also instructed the Foreign Intelligence Service to analyze all aspects of interaction between Moscow and Beijing in detail:
'In all aspects concerning Ukraine's national interests, as well as the interests of our partners in Europe and America. Global security should not suffer because Russia's appetite for aggression does not decrease.'
Actions of Russia and Ukraine's defense
Ivashchenko also drew attention to Russia's political campaigns aimed at destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.
'We will counter and block the activities of all entities that assist the enemy,' Zelensky added.
The President also reported that the Foreign Intelligence Service continues to work on the return of abducted Ukrainian children and issues related to the exchange of prisoners, thanking everyone involved in these processes.
Earlier, Zelensky noted that he sees no interest from China in a quick end to the war, as Beijing finds a 'weak Russia' unprofitable.
The situation on the political arena remains tense. Ukraine continues to draw the attention of the international community to the strengthening ties between Moscow and Beijing, as this could impact regional security. Monitoring these processes is critically important for forming an appropriate strategy for Ukraine and its partners.
