Coal production in China rose by 1.8% in November
According to the State Statistics Administration, coal production in China increased by 1.8% in November compared to last year, reaching 427.98 million tons. The average daily output amounted to 14.27 million tons, which is a new record. In October, this figure was at 13.28 million tons. Overall, 4.32 billion tons of coal were produced from January to November. The output of coking coal in the last month was 40.68 million tons, which is 0.6% higher than a year ago, but 1.3% lower than in October. Over eleven months, total coking coal production decreased by 0.9%, amounting to 446.7 million tons.
