Books for schoolchildren. Putin gave a new order.
Russia cultivates patriotism in schoolchildren
In Russia, propaganda among schoolchildren is one of the main means of influencing the formation of their views and values. It includes educational programs, extracurricular activities, holidays, and information campaigns. The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has added to the list several 'patriotic works' by contemporary writers that schoolchildren must read. This was reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation.
It is noted that this is the so-called 'Z-literature', which actively supports the war against Ukraine and fosters hatred towards Ukrainians and the West.
Despite the propaganda, this literature is not in high demand in Russia. However, it continues to be produced at the expense of the state budget.
This is part of the widespread campaign of the Russian Federation regarding the military readiness of schoolchildren. The main goal of this campaign is to raise a new generation of Russians who hate Ukraine and the West and are prepared for military aggression.
It should be noted that researchers from Cambridge University warned about the emergence of a market where artificial intelligence collects and sells data on human decisions.
