Russia has lost its status as a player in world politics: Kovalенко criticized Putin's approach.
The head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalенко criticized the approach of Vladimir Putin, who allows himself to discuss the issues of Ukraine without its participation. He compared this to potential future statements about the Baltics without the Baltic states. In Kovalенко's opinion, Russia has lost its status as a full-fledged player in world politics and depends on external resources and technologies.
Kovalенко noted that Putin continues to believe that he can talk about Ukraine without Ukraine, which, in his opinion, is flawed logic. He also pointed out that modern Russia is a country of limited subjectivity, dependent on external resources, and is incapable of competing with world leaders.
It was also reported that the Russian Foreign Ministry lifted the moratorium on the deployment of ground-based medium and short-range missiles, but this was considered a symbolic step, as such missiles had previously been deployed in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Furthermore, the President of the United States threatened to impose tariffs against Russia and its allies should they fail to meet the demands for the cessation of hostilities.
During this announcement, the head of the Center for Counteracting Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council Andriy Kovalенко expressed his criticism of the Russian president's approach, who discusses issues of Ukraine without the participation of Ukraine itself. He also noted Russia's dependence on external factors and emphasized the futility of such an approach. Additionally, symbolic steps were announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry and threats were made by the American president in case of non-compliance with the demands regarding the cessation of military actions.Read also
