The National Guard reported that the Russian side continues to increase its military strength for assaults on Ukrainian positions, and the enemy's losses may reach up to 2,000 people per day.
Ruslan Muzychuk, spokesman for the National Guard of Ukraine, reported this in an interview with Ukrinform.
'The enemy continues to actively engage its infantry for assaults. In some areas, they are trying to reinforce their military groups with a small number of armored vehicles. Over the last 10 days, we have observed assaults using three to seven to ten units of armored vehicles. But we cannot call this an assault. Right now, we are observing how the enemy is trying to constantly engage infantry for conducting assaults. Overall, about 200 assaults may occur per day, and at crucial moments, this number could be even higher. Indeed, enemy losses can amount to up to 2,000 persons per day, which indicates how much infantry the enemy is ready to use for assaults, in attempts to capture our positions,' the spokesman said.
Muzychuk emphasized that the defenders are acting effectively. He also added that Russian infantry is being restrained by drones, and the accuracy of hits and effectiveness of FPV drones reaches 70-80% in some areas.
The NGU spokesman also noted that the highest activity of the enemy has been recorded in the Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, Kupiansk, and Lyman directions.
