Summer or winter: which time will forever remain in Ukraine.
Ukrainians may remain on permanent winter time
Ukraine has a long history of adjusting the clock for summer time in spring and winter time in autumn. However, this practice may currently be abolished. Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada voted for bill No. 4201, which proposes to stay on permanent winter time. This bill has not yet been signed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, so the decision to switch to summer time in 2025 has not yet been made.
If the bill is not signed, the switch to summer time will occur on the night of March 29-30, when clocks will need to be set an hour ahead.
It is worth noting that such a transition can be challenging for the body, as people will have to wake up earlier. This can cause discomfort and stress.
To facilitate the transition to the new regime, it is recommended to gradually shift the bedtime earlier and to wake up 10 minutes earlier than usual.
