Lviv and Cherkasy regions recover from 'Shahed' attacks (photo).

In the Lviv and Cherkasy regions, fires broke out after Russian drones were shot down. This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi and the head of the Cherkasy RMA Ihor Taburets.

Lviv Region

During the air raid, which lasted in Lviv region from 03:56 to 04:32 on September 20, an enemy drone entered the airspace of the region. Air defense forces destroyed it.

As a result of the drone debris falling around 04:30, a fire broke out in one of the villages of the region. The building of the former collective farm caught fire. Firefighters successfully extinguished the fire. For this, 20 firefighters and four units of special equipment were involved.

«Three vehicles were damaged (1 truck and 2 cars), windows were broken in residential buildings near the site. The main thing: according to the data, there are currently no casualties or injured», - said Kozytskyi.

Cherkasy Region

Fires also broke out in the Cherkasy region as a result of enemy attacks. According to preliminary data, the sky defenders destroyed 13 enemy drones. No one was injured.

In two cases, fires broke out in the forest due to debris falling. The fires have already been cleared.

Recall that on the night of September 20, an air raid alert was declared over almost the entire territory of Ukraine. Russia massively attacked with strike drones. Air defense forces actively worked to repel enemy attacks. Explosions were heard, in particular, in the suburbs of Dnipro, Zaporizhya, Khmelnytskyi and Kyiv regions, as well as in Ivano-Frankivsk.

According to the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, Svitlana Onyshchuk, no one was injured as a result of the attack on the region. There were also no casualties or destruction in the Rivne region.

In addition, on Thursday, September 19, Russian troops shelled the village of Vilcha in the Chuhuiv district of the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, an 85-year-old man died on his birthday.
