The US Calls for 'Maximum Pressure' on Iran
The US has called for 'maximum pressure' on Iran to curb threats. This was stated by Keith Kellogg, the US special representative for Ukraine and Russia in the new administration of President Donald Trump. According to him, the international community must return to the policy of 'maximum pressure' on Iran to reduce threats and push this country towards a democratic model of existence. In addition to military power, pressure on Iran must also be economic and diplomatic. According to Kellogg, there is currently an opportunity to 'change Iran for the better,' but this opportunity will not last forever.
