According to UATV: On July 2, Russian forces launched a large-scale assault on Kyiv, leaving 10 people dead and 34 injured. In response, 570 emergency responders and over 125 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have been deployed to the scene.

- In the Pecherskyi district, another nine-story building was demolished, with fires on the first and second floors covering an area of 200 square meters.
- In the Sviatoshynskyi district, a private house caught fire.
- In the Desnianskyi district, a nine-story residential building sustained damage.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko released updated figures on the attack's consequences, noting that the information is still being revised.
