Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles

Russian enemies launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine on the night of July 31, using drones and missiles. A total of 317 missiles were fired. Five of them hit their targets directly.

According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram: 'The Russian troops launched an attack on Ukraine using 309 Shahed drones and decoy drones, as well as fired eight Iskander-K missiles. Most missiles were launched at Kyiv.'

Overview of the events of the attack on Ukraine

Defense against air attacks was conducted by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, 291 targets from the Russian side were shot down and destroyed:

  • 288 drones;
  • three Iskander-K missiles.

'Five direct hits of missiles were recorded (one of them in a residential building in Kyiv) and 21 drones in 12 different locations, as well as debris in 19 locations, most of them in the capital. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded, we express our condolences to the families', - reported representatives of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We remind you that after the attack by the Russian armed forces on July 31 in Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement. It is currently known that as a result of the shelling, six civilians were killed, including a six-year-old boy.

The events of the last shelling of Ukraine testify to the growing tension and violence from Russian invaders, who have committed massive aggression against the Ukrainian people, leading to tragedy and human casualties. Ukraine continues to defend its territorial integrity and seeks to resolve the conflict peacefully, relying on international support.
