Mastercard Unveils Its LoungeOne Facility
According to TSN.ua: Mastercard has inaugurated a premium lounge for travelers at a major railway station. The new LoungeOne, spanning 400 square meters on the station's third floor, offers seating for 90 guests and operates 24/7, though it closes during air raid alerts. Access is complimentary for holders of premium Mastercard cards. Furthermore, children under the age of seven can enter for free when accompanied by a qualifying cardholder.
Lounge Amenities and Services
The lounge provides a variety of services designed for traveler comfort, including:
- High-speed Wi-Fi;
- 21 power outlets for charging devices;
- Complimentary beverages like coffee, tea, and water;
- Snacks;
- One complimentary meal from Milk Bar.
The standard visit is limited to 1.5 hours, allowing passengers to relax comfortably before their departure.
For business travelers, the lounge features a meeting room suitable for conferences. A Mastercard Meet&Greet service is also available to assist guests with their luggage. Additionally, the facility includes shower cabins equipped with towels and toiletries, enabling passengers to freshen up before their journey.
This opening addresses growing traveler demand, as 51% of Ukrainian consumers now choose trains for their trips. The Ukrainian Railways app already boasts 6 million users and has facilitated the purchase of over 50 million tickets. This trend reflects a significant shift in travel preferences within the region.
The launch of Mastercard's LoungeOne at the railway station underscores the rising popularity of rail travel in Ukraine, mirroring evolving consumer behavior.
