According to inkorr.com: The Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, planned to purchase a bag with the BookForum logo; however, after learning about the price of 600 UAH, he decided not to spend the money. This became known from a video in which he participated on TikTok, reports Glavkom.
During a visit to the Lviv International BookForum, the mayor noticed a bag with the branded logo. At first, it caught his interest, but after familiarizing himself with the price, Sadovyi declined to make the purchase.
“My God, Lord! – Sadovyi exclaimed emotionally. – That’s expensive!”
“I have already paid a lot today.”
It is worth noting that the 32nd BookForum in Lviv took place from October 3 to 5 and featured approximately 120 publishing houses.
Sadovyi also shared his life secrets, giving up alcohol and coffee in favor of Japanese matcha tea, which helps him improve his energy and concentration.
Thus, the Mayor of Lviv actively defends his position on financial savings, even in small purchases. This episode highlights his principled approach to spending, which could serve as an example for society in general.
