The Ministry of Economy has restored the status of enterprises for conscription reservation.
The Ministry of Economy has updated the status of critically important enterprises according to new criteria. According to the new criteria, the first seven enterprises can reserve employees for 12 months. For the first time, 3500 applications were submitted within two days after the reservation was restored through 'Diia'.
Companies that have not yet updated but have critically important status can reserve employees until 2025. After updating criticality, they will have the opportunity to reserve employees for 12 months. To obtain the status of critically important, enterprises must have an average salary of at least 20 thousand hryvnias and have no debts to the budget. They must also meet one of the additional criteria, such as paying taxes, receiving foreign currency, being a strategic object, or being a resident of 'Diia City'.
New rules for reserving conscripted soldiers
As of December 1, 2024, new rules for reserving conscripted soldiers have come into effect in Ukraine. According to the new rules, conscription reservations can be obtained by conscripted soldiers who hold certain positions in the medical field. They must fulfill at least 50% of the working day norm during the last three months before the reservation.
