The Ministry of Energy commented on the suspension of gas transit and Fico's threats to 'leave Ukraine without electricity'.
Ukraine has confirmed its readiness for a complete cessation of Russian gas transit starting from 2025. According to the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, the Ukrainian gas transportation system has successfully passed all tests and is ready to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to consumers.

Halushchenko also mentioned alternative mechanisms for importing electricity and conducting negotiations with other countries to increase supplies. He also condemned the actions of Slovakia, which threatens to stop electricity supply to Ukraine due to the suspension of gas transit. Halushchenko stated his intention to appeal to European organizations regarding this situation.
