The Ministry of Finance calculated how Ukraine's national debt has increased.

In October 2024, the amount of national and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased by 4.35 billion hryvnias in hryvnia equivalent and decreased by 0.32 billion dollars in dollar equivalent.

According to the Ministry of Finance, as of October 31, 2024, the total amount of national and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to 6.41 trillion hryvnias, or 155.37 billion dollars. Of this:

The national and state-guaranteed external debt amounted to 4.58 trillion hryvnias (71.48% of the total amount), or 111.06 billion dollars;

The national and state-guaranteed internal debt amounted to 1.83 trillion hryvnias (28.52%), or 44.31 billion dollars.
