The Ministry of Defense announced how and where a National Guard soldier can be transferred through 'Army+'.
You can only be in a combat unit in a combat unit
According to the 'Army+' program, the National Guard of Ukraine has been able to change its place of service for a week now. The Ministry of Defense has revealed the algorithm for a successful transfer.
First, the National Guard fighter needs to decide where he wants to be transferred. If his unit is not participating in combat operations, he can be transferred anywhere, except in cases where there are restrictions from the military medical commission.
If the fighter belongs to a unit that is in a combat zone, he can only transfer to a similar combat unit. In the case of transferring to a non-combat unit, he can only be transferred if the Military Medical Commission concludes about his health. Transfers to operational or special units are only possible to the same type of unit.
If the transfer concerns supply, medical, or training units, as well as other formations, a conclusion from the Military Medical Commission is required, indicating that the fighter is fit for these units.
Fighters who are on standby status, meaning they are out of the regular staff but cannot be discharged, can also be transferred without the commander's consent.
In what cases can a transfer be made without the commander's consent:
- there is a conclusion from the Military Medical Commission;
- the fighter is on standby;
- the serviceman belongs to the rank and sergeant staff and wants to transfer to a unit that is carrying out combat tasks.
We remind you that President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the possibility of online transfers for National Guard fighters to other units using the 'Army+' program.
It is also known that a change of residence can be reported to the territorial recruitment and social support center using the 'Reserve+' program.
By the way, the 'Army+' program can be updated to a new version where cryptographic encryption for servicemen has been improved.
