Miss Ukraine Universe celebrated New Year in the company of Russians.

The winner of the Miss Ukraine Universe 2018 beauty contest, Karina Zhosan, found herself at the center of a scandal. She celebrated the New Year abroad alongside Russians who support the war against Ukraine. The model posted a video with these individuals on Instagram.

Karina Zhosan showed footage from the celebration that took place in a luxurious hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Among the invited guests were many Russian celebrities. In the evening, actress Marina Kravets performed, while the musical support was provided by Sevil, Nyusha, Slava Marlow, Egor Krid, and Timati, who are known for their support of Russian aggression.

On social media, Karina mainly communicates in Russian, occasionally in English. Her Ukrainian origins are mentioned only in her Instagram profile, where her title of Miss Ukraine Universe is noted.

It is worth noting that the model has been living outside Ukraine for several years.

We remind you that Maria Melnychenko, a student and model from Kyiv, has received the title of Miss Ukraine 2024 and will represent the country at the Miss World 2024 competition. She became the winner based on the voting results on the official contest website and the jury's evaluation.
