Moldova has introduced new entry rules to the country: details from border guards.

The Ukrainian State Border Service (SBGS) reports that Moldova has made changes to the rules for crossing the border for foreign drivers. Now, when entering the territory of Moldova, drivers must carry valid vehicle technical inspection certificates.
If the driver does not have this document, the border guards of Moldova will not allow him to enter the country. Therefore, the SBGS urges citizens to take these changes into account when traveling to Moldova.
This is yet another innovation in the international rules for the entry of foreign drivers, which adds to other known changes. For example, starting June 5, 2024, Ukrainians will not be able to enter Ireland without a valid biometric passport, but the visa-free regime remains in place.
Also, from November 10, 2024, a new IT system EES (Entry-Exit System) will come into force in the territory of the European Union, which will change the entry procedure for EU countries, including Ukrainians.
