The Ukrainian naval drone successfully attacked an airborne target for the first time. This occurred on December 31, 2024, near Cape Tarkhankut in temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Special unit fighters 'Group 13' carried out a successful operation using the naval strike drone Magura V5. The drone, equipped with P-73 'SeeDragon' missile armaments, destroyed the Russian Mi-8 helicopter.
During the engagement, a second enemy helicopter of a similar type was also damaged and managed to reach its base airfield.
Earlier, the GUR reported the destruction of a warehouse with parts for 'shaheds' in Russia.
