US Vice President to Meet with President of Ukraine
US Vice President Jay D. Vance plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Munich Security Conference, which will take place from February 14 to 16. According to CBS News, Zelensky will lead the Ukrainian delegation at the event, and Vance will also participate in the conference. This news was previously reported by The New York Post.
The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak will also be present at the Munich Conference and stated that the Ukrainian delegation will present the country's position on ending the war and pathways to achieving lasting peace. Additionally, Ukraine hopes to discuss security guarantees that could be implemented to prevent renewed aggression from the Russian Federation. Last week, the Ukrainian delegation also had meetings at the US State Department with Special Representative Keith Kellogg.
