Czech MFA outlines the only path to peace with Russia.
Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky expressed the opinion that it is necessary to use force against Russia to achieve peace with Ukraine. In his statement published on social media platform X, he noted that diplomatic resolution of the conflict is impossible due to the categorical position of the Russian leadership regarding Ukraine.
According to the Czech minister, the main obstacle to a peaceful resolution is that the Kremlin does not recognize Ukrainian statehood.
'Dictator Putin does not recognize Zelensky as president, does not recognize Ukrainians as a nation, and does not recognize Ukraine as a state. They are not partners for him, which is why he continues to attack,' Lipavsky emphasized in his post.
The Czech diplomat stressed that the only effective way to peace is to demonstrate the ineffectiveness of Russian attacks, which will force Putin to reconsider his position on Ukraine.
It has also been reported that the Kremlin plans to conclude talks on the war in Ukraine by May 9.
